The Cameroon international's future was placed into some doubt after he suffered racist abuse while in Milan last week.

Vigorelli's comments come after the player and President Massimo Moratti also dismissed suggestions of an exit.

"I want to be very clear, as I have always been throughout my career and with you, the fans, who have shown me so much affection and respect from my very first day in Milan," Eto'o said.

"Nothing that happens away from the pitch, though it may upset me as a man, can drive me away from Inter."

Moratti added: "Eto'o is 100 per cent one of us. He has no intention of leaving. This incident can't be a motive for a departure."

Eto'o had been linked with a move to Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid.
