Agent Crescenzo Cecere has revealed that Ionut Radu “didn’t hesitate” about moving to Parma but suggested that he will return to Inter this summer.

Radu left Genoa after a controversial decision to bring Mattia Perin back from Juventus to replace the Romanian, the first choice at the Marassi during the initial half of the season.

After keeping two clean sheets in 17 games, he returned to Inter after one-and-a-half seasons with the Rossoblu and was immediately loaned out to Parma.

The Gialloblu had to replace an injured Luigi Sepe, but Radu has been a back-up to 28-year-old Simone Colombi and is yet to play since his move to the Ennio Tardini.

“In football, choices are made,” Cecere said about Genoa’s decision to replace his client. “Genoa made their decision and we have made ours. It’s in the past.

“Sepe was hurt at the end of the transfer market and director [Daniele] Faggiano called us. We didn’t hesitate about going to Parma.

“Without Sepe’s injury, perhaps he would have returned to Inter and played games. But it’s in the past, Radu is working well and in June he will return to Inter.”
