Alexandre Pato’s agent has reignited rumours linking the Brazilian striker with a switch to Paris Saint-Germain. “We’d be happy if Ancelotti called.”

The youngster, who has struggled with injury at Milan in the past few seasons, was reportedly on the verge of a transfer to the Parisian outfit in January, only for Rossonero President Silvio Berlucsoni to allegedly intervene and halt the deal.

However, rumours of negotiations reopening have persisted, with PSG’s Coach Carlo Ancelotti more than once hinting that he would like to reunite with the striker he worked with previously at San Siro.

Asked about the tactician’s wish to work with his client, Pato’s agent did not rule out the possibility of a move this summer.

“Ancelotti is a great Coach, we’d be happy if he were to call us,” Gilmar Veloz told Tuttomercatoweb.

“With the Coach, Alexandre has always has a great relationship, his esteem is cause for satisfaction. Let’s see what happens…

“Alexandre is fine at Milan, in addition to having a contract with the club.

“But, Ancelotti is a great Coach and we valued it when he said that my client is a target, we were very pleased.

“The transfer market will be discussed in due course.”

Meanwhile, the player told Brazilian television at the weekend of his ambition to represent Brazil at the London 2012 Olympics late this summer.
