Stefano Okaka’s agent says the striker could leave Watford to get more playing time, with offers from Spain, England, France and Italy.

The 28-year-old has played just 64 minutes in the Premier League so far this season, and could move on in January.

“Okaka wants to play,” his agent and brother, Carlo, told Tuttomercatoweb.

“He started the first game, he scored against Liverpool and was man of the match. He got into the team of the week alongside [Romelu] Lukaku.

“Then he ended up on the bench. It’s a choice by the new Coach, Marco Silva. It was a surprise that he wasn’t even called-up for the cup, from which we took it that Stefano was no longer being considered.

“The club took [Andre] Gray and [Troy] Deeney was already there and the captain.

“He’s scored against Chelsea, he got a double against Everton and he scored against Tottenham when he was at Anderlecht.

“He’s proven he can score even against England’s big teams, I think he can stay in the Premier League and prove that, when he’s at 100 per cent, he’s one of the best.

“With the way things are set he could be a great buy in January. There has been interest from Spain, England and France; but some Italian clubs have also made themselves known.

“Sevilla and Everton? It’s not just them, but I’d rather not name names. There will be a meeting with the company, and everything depends on Silva’s choices.

“Stefano wants to stay in the Premier League, he did a year in the Jupiler League, scoring 17 goals, to get back in.

“It’s also true that he’s not playing though, he came on for 10 minutes against Everton because Deeney was suspended.

“It’s clear that he wants to leave so he can play, to show the player he is from now until the end of his career.

“We want a situation where the player is considered, he’s 28 and still has a career ahead of him.”
