The Milan midfielder has found himself on the sidelines recently for the Rossoneri after falling out of favour with Coach Massimiliano Allegri.
And his representative has admitted that the Italy international would love to play for his hometown club.
“Nocerino to Napoli? The dream of all Neapolitans is to wear the blue shirt,” Marco Sommella told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“But there are many guys who unfortunately have never been able to play for their home team – just look at Fabio Cannavaro.
“Mazzarri is an admirer, but you need to understand that there are conditions to closing a deal.”
