Roma’s hopes of signing Barcelona’s Adriano this month have taken a hit after his agent said: “Adriano won’t leave in January.”
The Brazilian is believed to be one of the Giallorossi’s main targets for the winter window, as the 31-year-old is struggling for game time in Spain.
Their hopes of an immediate signing now look unlikely, although agent Paulo Affonso left the door open for a summer switch.
“Adriano won’t leave Barcelona in January,” Affonso said to Mundo Deportivo.

“Adriano won’t leave Barcelona in January,” Affonso said to Mundo Deportivo.
“He’s not thinking about a transfer; he wants to make himself useful to the Catalan club.
“Roma? For now, there’s only interest. We have a good relationship with Roma and their sporting director, but for now it’s just interest.
“The Giallorossi, if they want the player, must speak with Barca and with me.”
