Lucas Paqueta’s agent believes Milan are the ‘perfect’ club for the midfielder and is the latest figure to praise Gennaro Gattuso’s man-management.
Paqueta has already scored and assisted in his opening eight appearances for Milan, while Gattuso’s ability to engage with his players has been highlighted by the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko and Suso in recent weeks.
“I’m very happy with how Milan have welcomed him, and I must say it’s all started well,” Eduardo Uram told Calciomercato.com.

“Lucas is playing very well but I think the whole team are doing a great job. The results are coming and the team are playing excellently, but we’re only at the beginning and we’re aware that there’s still a lot to do for the club to achieve the objectives that they’ve set themselves.
“Rino Gattuso has given him great support since the first day he arrived. Lucas found a Coach ready to give him advice and make him feel like an integral part of his tactical project.
“I haven’t talked to Gattuso directly, but Lucas talks about him very well to me. He’s happy to have Gattuso as a Coach.
“Lucas developed a winning mentality from a young age. He believes in himself and works on a daily basis to improve himself.
“He prepared himself mentally and knew what awaited him at Milan. He watched Italian football, he studied the details to be ready right away.
“He knew the club had great confidence in him and he wanted to be ready. Interest in him now belongs to the past.
“It makes no sense to talk about it anymore. He’d already made his decision after talking to two great leaders like Leonardo and Maldini.
“He was offered a very important sporting project, one that convinced us. He’d always seen Milan as a perfect club for him in Europe.
“They moved swiftly and forcefully and closed a deal. We’re very happy with the decision we made a few months ago.”
