Salvatore Sirigu’s agent insists Lazio “can’t afford” his client, who is being linked with a Paris Saint-Germain exit.

The Italian international has lost his starting shirt to Kevin Trapp at Parc Des Princes, and has been linked with a return to Italy, most notably with Milan.

It has also been suggested that Lazio could look to bring Sirigu in to replace Federico Marchetti, but the player’s representative has poured cold water on that idea.

“[Claudio] Lotito and [Igli] Tare’s club can’t afford him,” Carlo Pallavicino candidly admitted in an interview with Radio Olympia.

“It’s true that Sirigu earns less compared to the top players at PSG, but he remains unobtainable for Lazio and also for other important Italian teams.”
