It was suggested this morning that he could move to Genoa, freeing Lucas Ocampos for Milan, but that option appears to be off the table.
“The player, since the credits are rolling on his Napoli career, would like to request a transfer,” Furio Valcareggi told Soccer News 24.
“Everything will depend on what the club wants though. In terms of a team which has shown concrete interest there’s only Roma, but we could also explore the path leading to Fiorentina or Torino.
“I can rule out, however, the hypothesis of Milan or Genoa.”
