The agent of Napoli midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini expects his client to be fit for Week 2 of Serie A.
The Italian international joined the Partenopei from Sunderland this summer, but his pre-season has been hampered by injury.
“Emanuele is fine, he’s working really hard to get back to 100 per cent,” Furio Valcareggi assured on Radio Crc.
“You have to be good to play for Napoli, a very strong team who will give Juventus a very tough time this season.

“He’s recovering, he won’t be back for Pescara, he could be available for Milan but definitely for Palermo because you have to be careful because last year haste cost us another 20 days.
“Emanuele has told me that Napoli are already very strong, he’s very happy with his choice.
“The medical staff are there, they’re professional and his only concern is his condition. It’ll just take a bit of patience, after the Germany match he had three weeks holiday.
“He only had 10 minutes in a friendly [before getting injured] so now he’ll prioritise Napoli.”
