Having named his squad earlier today, Spalletti is flying out with the team this afternoon, and spoke to assembled journalists before departure.

“Bruno Peres? I’m very satisfied,” the Coach confirmed.

“We’ve taken another great player, like the others we already have. We must immediately understand that no-one is omnipotent, we have to work as a team because it’s the team that gets results and positions.”

Spalletti also spoke about tomorrow’s match, as the Lupi look to make the Group Stages of the Champions League.

“Although the statistics for Italian teams tell us it’s difficult to get through, we want to succeed. When chances come our way, we have to take them.

“We have a strong team, but it’s clear that we have to be balanced over the two legs. Porto have a squad which has been put together to do well in every competition.”
