The defender currently plays in Russia with Zenit St Petersburg, but has been repeatedly linked with a return to Serie A this summer.
“Mimmo is at a great club in Zenit,” Andrea D’Amico told SportMediaset.
“It’s normal though that after five years there’s the thought of returning to Italy.
