The Ghanaian international is training with the Rossoneri until January, and while his representative insists he’s not trying to win a contract, nothing is off the table.

“He’s been very well-received, and he’s a big fan of Milan,” Edward Crnjar told Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“For now he’s just thinking about training at his best. He’s found many friends at the Rossoneri, including Mario Balotelli. They get on very well, they often see each other off the pitch.

“We’ll never stop being grateful to [Adriano] Galliani for allowing him to come back and train at ‘his home’.

“The overall experience at Schalke was positive, the first year was good, and in the second things dropped off a little. That’s normal, considering the decline of the whole team.

“Then the club decided to sell him, we started a lot of negotiations this summer, including with several Italian clubs.

“In the end we weren’t able to reach an agreement that would meet his requests, so Kevin decided to stay at Schalke and respect his existing contract.

“Now he’s in Milan, but only to train. In the future, who knows…”
