A 53-year-old man claiming to be a football agent has been arrested for abusing players who attended the Roma youth academy.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the man, named only as MG, was arrested in flagrante by police just outside the Trigoria training ground on Friday.
It’s reported he would approach young players and promise them great careers in football, gain their trust and then abuse them.
It is believed at least three young boys were attacked, but the investigation is only just beginning in earnest.

This follows on from several high-profile stories of youth team Coaches in England abusing minors, although those were inside the various club academies.
The man arrested yesterday does not work for Roma, but would drive young players to and from training at the Trigoria ground.
