L’Imperatore had a chaotic career path, going from one of the most promising forwards in the world to practically quitting football to deal with personal problems.

Ligue 2 side Le Havre announced this week that they have agreed a contract with the 32-year-old.

Adriano Leite Ribeiro had very brief spells at Roma, Corinthians, Flamengo and Atletico Paranaense, most of them ending with the early termination of his contract after failing to attend training.

A free agent since April 2014, he had already been in negotiations with Le Havre in October, but could not agree personal terms.
