The ‘dynamic of Italian matches’ has struck Milan’s Luiz Adriano, who says he wants to ‘write the history of this club’.
The Brazilian striker arrived from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer and has been impressed by the level of organisation he has encountered in Italian football.
“The dynamic of Italian matches has struck me,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Up until now I’ve always been used to attacking, without having to think about anything else.

“The dynamic of Italian matches has struck me,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Up until now I’ve always been used to attacking, without having to think about anything else.
“But here it’s much more organised in every department. Even the smaller teams are very organised and play like the big teams.
“The tactical part is very important in every training session, this has never happened to me at this level before.
“I know that I’ve made the right choice by coming to Milan. My decision was based on the history of this club and of the Italian championship.
“I thought that at this point it was the right decision for me, and both my friend Pato and Coach Lucescu confirmed that for me.
“Lucescu told me to continue working as I had been with him. He also told me that he was expecting a strong start from me, because he knows how I train and how seriously I take it.
“The choices of the national Coach are very clear – in fact, at the last call-up only midfielders were selected and no strikers. By working like I am now, I can put myself on display.
“My objective is to be important and write the history of this club like I did at Donetsk. The Brazilians that have come before me are a great stimulus. My role models are Cafu, Ronaldo and Emerson.”
