The club is celebrating its 90th birthday today with a party at San Paolo, and the Partenopei President tweeted “welcome Milik”, confirming that the Polish attacker will join.
“It’s an honour to be part of Napoli,” Milik wrote on his Facebook page.
“There are fantastic fans with a lot of passion, a great club with a glorious history. I want to make those fans happy.”

Interestingly, the new signing from Ajax has been given the number 99 shirt, leaving space for a new number 9.
Napoli have been pursuing a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, with Mauro Icardi of Inter their primary target.
