Francesco Acerbi is back at Chievo Verona just six months after leaving the club for Milan, via Genoa.

The centre-back caught the eye of the Diavolo at the Bentegodi last term and they subsequently signed a 50 per cent share in him from parent club Genoa.

However, after making just six League appearances for the San Siro side, Milan sold their half in him back to Genoa on January 26.

The defender has today put pen to paper on a loan deal with the Flying Donkeys.
