Francesco Acerbi has confirmed that he has decided to inherit the Milan No 13 shirt which belonged to Alessandro Nesta.
The latter quit San Siro last month at the end of his contract and his trademark number will now be worn by Acerbi.

“I wanted to tell you that I have decided to wear the No 13 shirt,” Acerbi tweeted. “I’ll give my best for the Rossoneri colours. Forza Milan forever!”
The 23-year-old, who joined Milan from Genoa after a season at Chievo, had initially been unsure of whether to take the jersey that Nesta wore with distinction.
