Francesco Acerbi has admitted that he is dreaming of a Milan move, but he’s just concentrating on ending the season well at Chievo.

The defender, part-owned with Genoa, is of interest to the Rossoneri after his impressive campaign at the Stadio Bentegodi.

“I’m honoured that Milan are interested and it would be a dream,” the stopper told TMW on Wednesday.

“But the objective for the season is to end it well and score as many points as possible now that we are sure of survival.

“On a personal level, it has been a hard season for me – both good and bad. I think I need a good holiday.

“My agent, who I totally trust, will think about everything else for me.”

Acerbi was close to leaving Chievo in January, until he finally broke into the first team plans of boss Mimmo Di Carlo.

The 23-year-old has scored one goal in 16 top-flight games so far this season.
