The current Italy CT is the strong favourite to replace interim manager Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Corriere dello Sport writes today that the Premier League side’s owner Abramovich gathered the players together at the club training ground last weekend and announced: “I’ve signed Conte.”

The newspaper also reports that he told the squad: “Hiddink will definitely leave, even though he’s doing very well here.”

The Dutchman has overseen an upturn in form for the Blues, but appears likely to be replaced by Conte once the former Juventus Coach has completed Euro 2016 with the Azzurri.
