It seems as if Roma will have to do without main man Tammy Abraham for their upcoming match against Salernitana.

The 24-year-old English striker has been one of the top performers under Jose Mourinho this season, flying high in Rome and proving his doubters wrong with his keen sense for goal. The former Chelsea man has netted 23 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions this season, quickly adapting to a new league and team.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Abraham limped off during last night’s Europa Conference League match against Bodo/Glimt yesterday, looking pained as he shambled off the pitch.

He’ll almost certainly miss Sunday’s match against Salernitana and could even miss next week’s return leg against the Norwegian side, a must-win game following the 2-1 defeat suffered yesterday.

Abraham has a strong physical condition and hasn’t missed a match through injury this season for Jose Mourinho’s side, so it’s unlikely that he’ll be sidelined for too long.
