“We played so well and inevitably felt the fatigue in the second half,” said Emanuelson.
“However, if Muntari’s goal had been given, then on 2-0 it would’ve been a different game, opening up a lot more space.
“We remain confident for the Scudetto, because we played very well despite missing so many players.”
Goalkeeper Abbiati agreed that the Muntari incident weighed more heavily than Alessandro Matri’s late goal that was incorrectly ruled offside.
“We are disappointed with the result, but not too downhearted because we know that we played well,” said the former Juventus shot-stopper.
“In the locker room I saw that my teammates were sad, but also convinced they had proved a victory was deserved.
“Obviously, if we had gone 2-0 up in the first half, then it would’ve been a whole other game. I don’t know if we would have won, but it’d still be a different situation for us.
“It’s a shame, although a point against Juve is not to be sniffed at.”
