With La Gazzetta dello Sport reporting Newcastle could soon make their offer to hire Antonio Conte, the Magpies fans dream to see the Italian coach on their bench soon.
Conte left Inter after winning the Serie A title in 2020-21 and is currently working with Sky Sport Italia as a Champions League pundit.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, new Newcastle owners are ready to submit an offer for the former Juventus and Inter coach who has won four Serie A titles and one Premier League in his coaching career.
The news has become viral on social media, with thousands of Newcastle fans dreaming of Conte’s appointment soon.
According to reports in Italy, the Italian coach would only be open to joining a new club from the beginning of 2021-22, but, as they say, dreams cost nothing. Hence, Magpies supporters hope to see one of the most successful coaches in football join the club.
Conte had been in talks with Tottenham in the summer but refused to move to North London as he didn’t consider their project appropriate for his ambitions.
