Massimiliano Allegri screamed at Federico Chiesa during the first half of Juventus-Frosinone on Sunday as the coach wanted the Italy star to play in the middle and not go wide on the left flank.

Sky Sport Italia and DAZN report Juventus boss Allegri was unhappy with Chiesa during the first half of a home Serie A game against Frosinone on Sunday.

According to pitchside reporters, quoted by Ilbianconero.com, Allegri ‘screamed’ at the Italy international as he was unhappy with his position on the pitch in the opening 45 minutes.

Chiesa often tried to get the ball on the left flank, but Allegri wanted him to play in the middle, as a striker, close to his teammate Dusan Vlahovic, the scorer of two goals in the first half.

Allegri also urged Kenan Yildiz to warm up from the bench after yelling at Chiesa.

The Juventus coach had words with other Juventus players in the first half, especially when Frosinone took the lead before Adrien Rabiot was subbed off with a foot injury.

Chiesa was effectively replaced with Yildiz after 15 minutes in the second half.
