Carlos Alcaraz underwent medical examinations in Turin on Friday morning, but could not train with the rest of the team due to bureaucratic procedures.

The Argentinean midfielder visited Continassa for the first time on Friday. He started at J Medical, where he underwent a second part of medical examinations. Alcaraz had had the first part of checks in London on Wednesday before his loan love to Juventus from Southampton was confirmed.

The 21-year-old then joined his teammates at the club’s training ground, but couldn’t join them on the pitch due to bureaucratic procedures, Football Italia understands.

Therefore, it’s unlikely that he’ll be available for an away game at Inter on Sunday.

The Bianconeri trained in the morning on Friday and will return to the pitch on Saturday in the early afternoon, following Max Allegri’s press conference at 10:30 GMT.

Juventus will travel to Milan straight after Saturday’s training session, meeting their rivals Inter at San Siro on Sunday. They currently sit second in the Serie A table, one point below the Nerazzurri who have a game in hand.
