Former Milan striker and winner of the Ballon d’Or 1995 George Weah was presented with a personalised Juventus shirt by Bianconeri coach Max Allegri during a visit to the club’s training centre on Tuesday.
Weah, who scored 58 goals from 147 appearances in all competitions for Milan between 1995 and 2000, was at Continassa to observe Juve’s training session on Tuesday.
His son Timothy joined Juve in the summer, arriving in an €11m deal plus bonuses from Ligue 1 side Lille. The USMNT wide-man has since registered 17 Serie A appearances, but is yet to find the net in the league.
During George Weah’s visit, he was pictured saying hello to Juve stars Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie. Allegri personally handed Weah a customised shirt, with his name and iconic no.9 printed on the back.
