Defending champions Napoli will be hoping to turn a new page in 2024 after a difficult December, keen to take home all three points from their trip to Torino.

The match between the Granata and the Partenopei kicks off at 14.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in Turin.

Torino have looked positive in recent weeks under Ivan Juric, losing just twice in their last nine league outings, picking up wins over Atalanta, Sassuolo and Udinese. Their run leaves them on the cusp of the top half of the table, although they may be too far off of the European spots.

The Granata are without the injured Ange Caumenan N’Guessan, Perr Schuurs and David Zima.

Napoli had a disastrous December under short-term coach Walter Mazzarri, winning just one match in five last month, beating Cagliari 2-1. The other results included losses to Inter, Juventus and Roma, as well as a goalless draw with Monza.

The defending champions cannot count on the injured Alex Meret, Mathias Olivera and Natan.

When the two clubs met in the 2022-23 campaign, Napoli secured a 3-1 win at home and a 4-0 win away.

Probable line-ups for Torino vs Napoli
