Christian Pulisic is reportedly so determined to join Milan that he is taking a huge pay cut, but the club continues to negotiate a fee with Chelsea.

The United States international would not take up a non-EU slot in the squad because he also has a Croatian passport.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb, Foot Mercato and Sportitalia, Pulisic only has eyes for Milan and is ready to accept a massive cut in his current wages to help push it through.

This also means he has rejected the proposal from Olympique Lyonnais, but the Rossoneri are trying to lower the €25m asking price.

The 24-year-old is only under contract until June 2024 and is eager to get more regular playing time than he has been afforded at Chelsea.

He cost €64m to purchase from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019 and has 23 goals in 57 senior caps for the USA. Fellow USMNT player Yunus Musah is also in advanced talks with Milan from Valencia
