Inter and Sassuolo directors are meeting with Davide Frattesi’s agent this evening, but everything is on hold after Al-Nassr suddenly lowered their Marcelo Brozovic bid.

They are all present in Rimini, which is the hub this summer for the Italian transfer market where the paperwork will be deposited.

With the event tonight to open the window on July 1, figures from various clubs have flocked to this venue and that gives them the opportunity for talks.

Sky Sport Italia reported seeing Inter director Beppe Marotta and Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali huddled together in a discussion this evening.

They were later joined by Beppe Riso, the agent who represents Sassuolo midfielder Frattesi.

It was reported the clubs had basically agreed a fee of €23-25m plus ownership of young striker Samuele Mulattieri.

However, all that is on hold because Al-Nassr suddenly changed their offer for Brozovic from €23m to just €13m plus €2m in add-ons.

Until they sell, Inter cannot reinvest in Frattesi, which leaves room for others like Milan and even Roma to step in.

Juventus seem to be out of the running after securing the new contract for Adrien Rabiot.
