Frosinone won promotion to Serie A, but coach Fabio Grosso wants to leave and the club is meeting Eusebio Di Francesco today.

The Canarini topped the Serie B table and secured their step up to the top flight along with Genoa and promotion play-off victors Cagliari.

However, Grosso has reportedly decided not to continue in the role for next season, so the club needs to find a suitable replacement.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the first choice is former Sassuolo and Sampdoria boss Di Francesco.

He is said to be meeting with technical director Guido Angelozzi later today to discuss strategy and personal terms.

The 53-year-old started the 2021-22 season at Verona, but lasted only four games before he was sacked.

Before that, his experiences at Roma, Sampdoria and Cagliari all ended in dismissal.

As for Grosso, he has been linked with a potential move to Olympique Marseille, where he would be replacing Igor Tudor on the bench.
