According to American financial specialists Bloomberg, Andrea Radrizzani would make a bid to purchase Inter if he sold Premier League side Leeds United.

The Italian businessman founded Eleven Sports broadcasting group, is on the board of DAZN and was born on the outskirts of Milan, but as a youth supported Juventus.

He purchased Leeds United in 2017 from Massimo Cellino and helped them earn promotion to the lucrative Premier League.

Bloomberg report that Radrizzani is looking to sell Leeds United to investors behind American Football franchise San Francisco 49ers and use the money from that move to purchase Inter from Suning.

Inter are worth an estimated €1 billion and are boosting their profile by reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.

Radrizzani would face competition from Bahrain-based Investcorp for Inter.

Suning’s situation is increasingly difficult, with a huge €275m emergency financing loan from Oaktree Capital Management due to be repaid in May 2024.

The club has rising debts and failure to qualify for the Champions League next season would prompt a radical overhaul of their objectives.
