After another spell on the sidelines, Paul Pogba is finally expected to return for Juventus in their upcoming Europa League quarter-final clash with Sporting CP.

The 30-year-old Frenchman’s return to the Bianconeri was entirely derailed by a serious knee injury suffered back in July, which required an operation in early September.

After missing the first 23 games of the Serie A season, Pogba finally returned with two cameo appearances against Torino and Roma, before again being forced out of action with a muscle injury.

As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Pogba was all smiles in Juventus’ training session in Continassa yesterday, carrying out the entire session with his teammates and raising his intensity on the pitch.

The Frenchman is expected to be called up by Massimiliano Allegri for Juventus’ upcoming Europa League quarter-final first leg match with Sporting, scheduled for Thursday April 13.

Whilst Pogba is unlikely to start in the match, he could come off the bench in the second half.
