Inter legend Marco Materazzi taunts Barcelona ahead of tonight’s game against the Nerazzurri: ‘They don’t know how to lose.’
Simone Inzaghi’s men meet the Catalans at the Nou Camp tonight in a key fixture for the qualification to the Round of 16.
Inter beat Barcelona 1-0 in a controversial match at San Siro last week and coach Xavi has admitted that his side will be looking for revenge tonight.
Materazzi, who beat Barcelona when he was playing for Inter in 2010, eventually winning the treble under José Mourinho, taunted the Catalans on Instagram hours before the kick-off.
“Come on guys, there is no better feeling than trying to win against those who don’t know how to lose,” the ex-defender said.
Materazzi added a few pictures from Inter’s 1-0 loss at the Nou Camp in 2010, which was still enough to qualify for the Champions League Final.
After the final whistle, the Catalans turned on their irrigation system to discourage Inter players and Mourinho from celebrating on the pitch, but the Special One and his boys, including Materazzi, were not bothered.
