Roma legend Daniele De Rossi wore red and yellow shoes in his first picture as SPAL coach and could already meet his former club in the Coppa Italia Round of 16.
The 2006 Italy World Cup winner has got his first managerial job with the Serie B side replacing Roberto Venturato and will hold his presentation press conference today.
He wore a SPAL scarf for his first official picture with his new club, but white and blue are not colours that suit the ex-midfielder as those are the same as Lazio, Romaโs harshest rivals.
Fans on social media have noticed that De Rossi also wore expensive red and yellow shoes, perhaps to โbalanceโ his white and blue scarf.
De Rossi spent almost his entire playing career at Roma and could already meet his former club in Coppa Italia.
The Giallorossi start the tournament in the Round of 16 in January when they will face the winner of Genoa-SPAL who will meet on October, Tuesday 18 at the Stadio Ferraris.
