Napoli are continuing to work hard in their chase of Giacomo Raspadori but their latest offer has reportedly failed to convince Sassuolo.

The Partenopei have been in almost constant contact with the Neroverdi over the last week or so in an attempt to reach a deal for the talented 22-year-old Italian forward. Both parties are keen to close out a transfer as soon as possible, but no agreement has been reached yet on the fee.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Napoli’s latest offer for Raspadori is around €25m plus €5m in add-ons, a proposal that was quickly turned down by Sassuolo, whose initial requests were around €40m.

Further talks are expected and the two parties will continue trying to iron out a deal over the coming days. Raspadori only wants to join the Partenopei now and is ready to join Luciano Spalletti’s side. Concrete progress is expected at some point later this week.

  2. Brian Buddy you are right but the top italian clubs prefer Bidoni from abroad, they only think of who is cheap and not who is good and not who about who is the future of italian football, You are right and i agree with you. Serie A is nothing but a joke

  3. Brian

Spot on. Frattesi, Raspadori and Zaniolo shoud be signed. More italian talent than semi-good players from abroad.

  4. The fact that idiots want Juventus to buy all the talent in Italy is what’s wrong with Serie A. I don’t want Bundesliga 2.0. Italy is not a farmers league but I fotgot Juve fans don’t like competition
