Adrien Rabiot is reportedly asking for a three-year contract from Manchester United and director of football John Murtough has flown to France to try to agree a deal.

The Red Devils are desperately looking to strengthen their midfield this summer after an incredibly unconvincing opening fixture against Brighton, where they lost 2-0. Particular attention was paid to their midfield pairing of Scott McTominay and Fred, with many suggesting that the team cannot improve without replacing one or both players.

As highlighted by TMW, Rabiot has seemingly requested a three-year contract worth around €10m net per season, which also includes various other details and add-ons. His mother and agent Veronique is in close contact with Manchester United, who sent Murtough to France today in an attempt to iron out a deal.

Selling the Frenchman would allow Juventus to make a decisive move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes, who has heavily been linked with a move to Turin this summer.

  1. For sure I always thought he simply cheated on us that got that contract but after this chapter he will can forget about money forever, but here we see he will get another luxury contract, its ridicilous 🙂

  2. He will never get that much. He is making the case to stay at Juve and eat pasta until he is a free agent again. The food here is better than what mommy makes

  3. This bum is not worth $7M a year, let alone $10M a year. I’ll be glad to see him leave. I hope United are foolish enough to get him

  4. The comical reality is that he most likely will get 10m a season out of an English club. Super Jack Grealish is on £300K a week at Man City 😂😂😂
