José Mourinho’s Roma meet Leicester City in the second leg of the Conference League semis tomorrow, with the Portuguese coach targeting the eighth European Final in his career.

The Giallorossi picked up a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium last week and host the Foxes at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow night. Mourinho will be targeting the eighth European final in his career, while Roma fans dream of winning their first trophy since 2008.

The Special One reached the first European final as a coach in 2003 when his Porto side beat Celtic 3-0 to win the UEFA Cup. A few months later, he lost 1-0 against Milan in the European Supercup Final but took his revenge at the end of the season by winning the Champions League with Porto in one of the most remarkable feats in the history of the game. He lifted the Champions League again in 2010, completing Inter‘s treble.

Three years later, he lost another European Supercup Final, this time on penalties at the hands of Bayern Munich, with a young Romelu Lukaku missing the decisive spot-kick in the shootout.

The last time he lifted a European cup was in 2016-17 when Manchester United won the Europa League, but the following Supercup Final saw his side lose again: 2-1 against Champions League winners Real Madrid.
