Gary Medel will be available for Bologna against Inter on Wednesday evening after his appeal against a two-match Serie A ban.
The Chile international had been given the two-game suspension following his red card for dissent during the 1-1 draw with Juventus.
He received two yellow cards in a matter of moments, both for protests against the referee.
Today the appeal was partially-accepted and the ban halved, instead turned into a one-game ban and a €5,000 fine.
It means Medel will be able to play against Inter at the Stadio Dall’Ara tomorrow evening in the rescheduled Serie A match, originally called off due to a COVID outbreak in the Bologna squad.
Bologna-Inter will now kick off on Wednesday at 19.15 UK time (18.15 GMT).
Marko Arnautovic and Adama Soumaoro have also completed their one-match bans, so are expected to be in the starting XI.
Inter sit one point behind Serie A leaders Milan, but have a game in hand.

Am happy he is playing cause he is inter undercover agent to give us PK like accebi was Milan 12 man against Lazio. I am sounding like Milan fans conspiracy theories about ref and everything yet they can’t win match comfortably.
Of course they let him play, anything just to stop Inter 😀
