Jose Mourinho urged Roma ultras in the Curva Sud not to celebrate too early at half-time in the Derby Della Capitale, as he feared they could spark a Lazio comeback.
The Giallorossi went into the break 3-0 up thanks to two goals from Tammy Abraham and a stunning Lorenzo Pellegrini free kick.
According to DAZN and their pitch-side reporter, the Roma fans in the Curva Sud had started with mocking βoleβ chants every time their team completed a pass.
This worried Mourinho, who has experience of leads crumbling, including earlier this season when they were beaten 4-3 by Juventus.
The coach turned to the fans and urged them to stop doing that, as he was afraid they would both spark a reaction from Lazio and above all suggest their own players lose concentration for a job already done.
