Former Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has officially joined Venezia until June 2022.
The Arancioneroverde have announced the Argentine 34-year-old’s arrival as a free agent.
Romero carried out the medical with the newly promoted side yesterday and the former Sampdoria shot stopper has signed a deal until the end of 2021-22.
“Venezia FC are pleased to announce the signing of Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero on a free transfer,” the club wrote on their official website.
“Romero is Argentina’s all-time most-capped goalkeeper and last played for Manchester United.”
