Jose Mourinho prepares for two decisive weeks with Roma, as the Giallorossi are set to play against Juventus, Napoli and Milan in the second half of October.

The Giallorossi started the season in perfect fashion under Mourinho, but the tasks are growing bigger and the expectations in the city are high.

Roma face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium when Serie A returns this weekend, before a trip to Bodo/Glimt in Norway for the UEFA Europa Conference League four days later.

Roma then host league leaders Napoli and second-placed Milan at the Olimpico, on either side of a trip to Cagliari in a decisive month for La Lupa.

La Repubblica believes the truth of the development under Mourinho will come out this month, pointing at the difficulties against the big teams in the past.

During Paulo Fonseca’s reign, the Giallorossi only picked up four points from 33 available in the head-to-head games with the giants.

Roma lost 3-2 in the Derby della Capitale against Lazio and have a mini cycle against the biggest Serie A teams, which will help understand if the team has really changed mentality and turned things around at Trigoria.

Mourinho has stressed he works a lot with the players’ mentality and wants to erase the fears of the recent past. He’s starting with a trip to Turin to face the Old Lady on Sunday.
