Marseille coach André Villas-Boas has confirmed the Ligue 1 side are in talks with Napoli over a move for Arkadiusz Milik.

Milik seemed set to leave the Partenopei last summer, but moves to both Roma and Juventus fell through and the Poland international was not registered to play in Serie A.

The 26-year-old striker wants to play in Euro 2020 this summer and is searching for regular playing time in the second half of the 2020-21 season.

“We are talking about it with his club,” Villas-Boas said, according to Calciomercato.com.

His contract expires in June and the report reveals Marseille have offered €8m for the player to move already this winter.

Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis still wants €15m for the players signature, something that has made Juventus wait until June.

Calciomercato.com claims the player is open for a move to France, with Marseille currently sixth in Ligue 1, seven points behind third-placed LOSC Lille with two games in hand.
