According to Calciomercato.com, however, Ibra’s striking partner Ante Rebic is still in doubt for the game against the Nerazzurri as the Croat hasn't yet recovered from the elbow injury he picked up in the game against Crotone back in September.

Both Matteo Gabbia and Leo Duarte are likely to skip the derby as they are both positive for Covid-19. The Brazilian centre-back tested positive back in the last week of September but hasn’t had two negative swabs yet.

Gabbia tested positive while on International duty with Italy U-21 earlier last week.

Pioli has very little options at the back as the injured Andrea Conti and Mateo Musacchio are also going to skip the game on Saturday.

At least, Alessio Romagnoli has fully recovered from an injury and is likely to start against the Nerazzurri.
