The centre-back controversially left to become Milan captain last summer, but returned just 12 months later in a swap deal for Mattia Caldara.
The Italian international wasn’t forgiven by all Juve fans though, and he was whistled away at Chievo and in the warm-up for Saturday’s game.
However, video has emerged of Bonucci being applauded by the Bianconeri ultras, after conciliatory gestures to the stands.

The defender held his palms up to the Curva Sud while applauding them, and the fans responded with applause of their own.
