Andrea Barzagli said Juventus are “70-80 per cent there” to a seventh consecutive Scudetto after beating Bologna 3-1.

“It’s another step forward and a game that we knew would be important. We’re not mathematically there yet, but 70-80 per cent there.

“Yet again, we had to suffer and fight back, but we got there in the end,” the veteran defender told Sky Sport Italia.

Bologna had taken the lead through a Simone Verdi penalty, but Douglas Costa came off the bench and immediately shook things up with two assists.

“We are accustomed to these long seasons and when we get to the end, there is always some fatigue, but we’ve never had as big a dip as this year.

“The only positive is that we know how to suffer. We made life more complicated for ourselves and then we managed to turn it around.”

On Wednesday there is another piece of silverware up for grabs, as Juventus face Milan in the Coppa Italia Final.

“There’s the Coppa Italia Final, it’d be our fourth in a row, and we have to be fully focused.”
