Wojciech Szczesny insists Juventus “are not that much better than Roma” and targets the Scudetto.
The Giallorossi are currently four points behind the champions, who have won Serie A for the past five seasons.
“Roma’s targets? The Scudetto, the Europa League and the Coppa Italia,” Szczesny said in an interview with Laczynaspilka.
“Roma have ambition and tradition, as well as a good squad. Juventus are favourites, but Roma are one of the teams who can dethrone them.

“Everyone drops points in Serie A, even Juventus. I don’t think the Old Lady is that much better than Roma.”
Szczesny was also asked about Juve’s goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.
“He’s unique. No matter who is in front of him, he’s always focused and he never loses the motivation to be successful with Juventus and the national team.
“For me he’s not just an icon of Italian football, but a global phenomenon, one of the best players in history.”
