Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be ‘welcome’ in his team.

The Swedish international has been consistently linked with a return to the Rossoneri this summer, having left to join the Ligue 1 side in 2012.

Speaking at a Press conference ahead of the friendly with Inter in China, Mihajlovic adressed the speculation, as well as the Diavolo’s pursuit of Roma’s Alessio Romagnoli.

“If Romagnoli leaves Roma, he’ll come to Milan,” the Serbian tactician predicted.

“As for Ibra, he’s welcome to come, but I don’t know if he has enough money for the plane…

“Seriously though, we have a great squad, regardless of who might come.”

The former Sampdoria boss then turned his attention to the game, as well the forthcoming Serie A season.

“It’s my first derby on the Milan bench, I’d like to get used to winning against Inter. I’m expecting improvement from every point of view: technical, tactical, physical and character.

“It’s true that there’s still a month to go until the season starts, but we’re working well. I always say you don’t play a derby – you win a derby.

“We’ll try to do that now. It won’t be easy, but we’re Milan, and Milan are obliged to always play to win.

“Improvements? Intensity, organisation and team spirit. But those are problems for all teams, not just Milan.

“As for the amount of goals conceded, that’s an issue for the whole team, not just the defence. We’ll have to be careful, and more balanced, to concede fewer goals.”
