Tuttosport say that Adriano Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi have agreed that Milan’s next sporting director will be Giovanni Galli.

The Rossoneri have been on the lookout for a new ds since Ariedo Braida’s departure at the turn of the year ended his 28-year association with the club.

Linked with a host of names including Fiorentina’s Daniele Prade and Juventus’ Fabio Paratici, the club were seen as settling on Verona’s Sean Sogliano as first choice to come in from the summer.

However, Tuttosport are suggesting that speculation linking former Milan goalkeeper Galli with the position is not wide of the mark and he has now become the club’s first choice option.

It is believed that directors Galliani and Berlusconi both agree on the 55-year-old, who since retirement worked as sporting director at the likes of Foggia and Verona before moving into politics.
