Who made it into the Football Italia Team of the Week after the latest round of matches? Dave Taylor reveals all.

Gianluca Pegolo [Siena]

A commanding performance with stops, blocks and anticipation that denied Juve at every turn. Made outstanding saves from Stephan Lichtsteiner and Alessandro Matri, but even those were shaded when he palmed Andrea Pirlo's fierce free-kick to safety. Astounding.

Juan [Roma]

The Brazilian made a couple of crucial tackles, but also found time to forage up field to head home Francesco Totti's free-kick. Also assisted Fabio Borini's second goal with a perfect pass. Athletic.

Paolo Cannavaro [Napoli]

Frustrated Milan with his intelligent interceptions, while one particular clearing header set up a speedy counter attack. Made several decisive challenges on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, especially a well-timed tackle on a real scoring opportunity. Awesome.

Luca Rossettini [Siena]

Helped stop a run of five away defeats with his closing down, crowding out and general hounding of Matri and Vucinic. Never giving an inch, he inspired his side to a well-deserved share of the points. Amazing.

Mattia Cassani [Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”18″>Fiorentina]

Won the battle on the right flank and put in several dangerous crosses. Yet ironically it was Manuel Pasqual's superb cross from the left, that saw him head past Samir Handanovic for his first Viola goal. Ambrosial.

Daniele De Rossi [Roma]

Roma could move up field with freedom thanks to Captain Futuro's dependability in front of the back four. In defence or attack with his precise passes and penetrating perception, alongside the excellent Miralem Pjanic, he cut Inter to pieces. Astute.

Andrea Pirlo [Juventus” data-scaytid=”28″>Juventus]

Created the tempo but let down on several occasions by the lack of awareness of his colleagues. Seemed to be individually carrying the fight to Siena and looks like he can talk to the ball. Articulate.

Bosko Jankovic [Genoa]

A real thorn in Lazio‘s” data-scaytid=”31″>Lazio's side as his judicious presence in a more forward role resulted in two goals and an assist. His first rebounded off Federico Marchetti, while his second was a meticulously angled shot into the far corner. Awe-inspiring.

Maximiliano Moralez [Atalanta” data-scaytid=”35″>Atalanta]

Fought against the flow down the left and was finally rewarded when he finished off a fine move with a stealthy run that saw him slide home a pin point pass from Manolo Gabbiadini. Admirable.

Fabio Borini [Roma]

Never stopped looking to make a run or make space and outfoxed Walter Samuel to score his first. Then controlled a fine pass from Juan, before holding off Lucio, to slam another bullet past Julio Cesar. Astonishing.

Rodrigo Palacio [Genoa]

Another fine performance from the Argentine. His Mancini/Zola-like back heel flick from outside the six-yard box saw the ball loop over a mesmerized Marchetti into the goal and was worth the entrance fee alone. Astral.
